Smart Yields founder and CEO Vincent Kimura was featured on a panel at the 2018 Future Focus conference, hosted by the Hawaii Business Roundtable and the University of Hawaii. The event, now in its fourth year, explored topics such as cybersecurity, food production and agriculture.

“Automation is really the goal for all of us,” Kimura said. “We need to move a lot of this basic stuff that we could do with robotics and move our current labor force up to a higher value. That’s really where you save a lot of costs and our costs to grow.”
